Where's the pediatrician at Natural Choice Pediatrics?

If you want your child to receive evidence-based medical care, let alone care from a real pediatrician, Natural Choice Pediatrics is certainly not the place to go.
Welcome to Natural Choice Pediatrics in Frisco, Texas. You might be thinking that this is a pediatrician's office based on the name and its Google Maps listing, but we'll forgive you for the mistake. In fact, this clinic is purely owned and operated by nurse practitioners, and there's not a single board-certified physician to be found on their website.
You might be thinking where the "40+ years of combined experience" comes from. To be honest, we have no fucking idea. But it apparently includes time spent being the neighborhood babysitter and being a nanny to your cousins when you were 12 years old. I don't know about you, but I don't count my time in sixth grade as part of my experience in medicine.
But the most questionable part of Natural Choice Pediatrics is its focus on "holistic" and "integrative" health. They advertise two of their nurse practitioners as "certified Clinical Homeopaths", whatever the fuck that is supposed to mean. If you have to specifically call out "vaccine friendly families", it doesn't take much to figure out the kind of parents Natural Choice Pediatrics panders to.
Their website even has a section for ordering supplements, oils, and juices straight to your home. I'm no pediatrician, but since when did the American Academy of Pediatrics recommend essential oils for your child? If you want your child to receive evidence-based medical care, let alone care from a real pediatrician, Natural Choice Pediatrics is certainly not the place to go.
