"Dr." Cynthia McNeill, Ph.D., MBA, FNP-C

Here we have another example of a midlevel nurse practitioner being blatantly misrepresented as a doctor in a clinical context. Cynthia McNeill's "doctorate" in "Human Services" comes from Capella University, another fine and reputable for-profit institution known for its rigorous online coursework /s. We're not exactly sure how a course in "Strategic Planning and Organizational Effectiveness for Human Services" helps with the practice of clinical medicine. Usually, when patients ask to see the doctor, they mean someone with an MD/DO, not a nurse practitioner with a PhD in "Human Services". My, how the times have changed!
